Majeeda captures her audience and draws them in with a raw emotion and energy that is infectious delivered with every powerful note.  She says she draws that emotion from her audience and her life experience.
Music and dance were just a part of everyday life for Majeeda as a child.  Her mother a professional dancer and her father a percussionist gave Majeeda full exposure to the arts and its many different facets.   By the time she was 5 years old she was performing on stages with her family and family friends.

Though most of her career has been spent in her hometown, the Milwaukee native, now an Illinois based artist, is a well-known and respected vocalist, songwriter and performer.   She has had the opportunity to work alongside some top recording artists such as:
